BusinessGiftUK are proud to be members of Lancashare. Indeed, we were founder members back in 2016, inspired by Lisa Edge and her local sharing and trading concept, now known as GB Shared.

Our MD Steve Ward was delighted their latest event at The Villa, Wrea Green, to celebrate Lancashire Day 2025. Around 100 businesses were represented. Steve was honoured to be asked to be a table host and he did a presentation about promotional gifts, manufactured here in Lancashire. In particular, he featured the H2O Eco range of sports water bottles, the Americano range of travel mugs and the ever-popular Brite-Mat mouse mats. All of which are made in Blackpool, in a state of the art, nil-to-landfill manufacturing facility near Blackpool airport. The presentation was enlivened by some promotional gift puns which prompted a nice quote from James Ashcroft, EES - elite electronics & security ltd “Great Jokes at the Gb shared meeting haha”.

 

 

Delegates heard about the key benefits of trading locally, including reduced travel and shipping, ease of connecting and keeping cash in our community. An excellent hot-pot was provided by The Villa at Wrea Green and very tasty flap jacks were shared by Morris Quality Bakers of Coppull. BusinessGiftUK provided a bag full of Lancashire made business gift samples for a charity raffle as well as N1 coasters for a prize draw. A Lancashare day cake was cut and shared and all delegates left with goody bags as a reminder of the celebration.
