Darren Jenkinson, a partner in Lancashire based digital training firm DigiEnable, is calling out to the business community to show their support for the local charity, "Chorley FC Community Foundation," by participating in their upcoming Business Football Day.
Chorley FC Community Foundation is a non-profit organisation that provides sports and educational programs to young people in the Chorley area. The foundation aims to help children and young adults achieve their potential and develop life skills that will serve them well in the future.
The Community Foundation is hoping “Chorley Business Champions” can become an annual event to raise funds for their programs. This year's event will take place on May 11th, and businesses are encouraged to form teams and participate in a friendly football tournament. The day promises to be a fun-filled event with an opportunity for food and networking after the event.
As a partner in DigiEnable, a digital training firm based in Chorley, Darren Jenkinson has been a long-time supporter of the Chorley FC Community Foundation and chair of the Foundation since 2019. He recognises the vital role that the charity plays in the community and the positive impact it has on lives of those who benefit from their projects.
According to Darren Jenkinson, "Participating in the event is a great opportunity for local businesses to show their support for a worthy cause while also having fun and networking with other local businesses."
