Back in 2011 we started trading and it is amazing to find ourselves still here working with some lovely clients 10 years later! What started out as a means to keep the family afloat has turned into a sustainable outsourced business development venture.
In our day-to-day activities we find ourselves spending many hours on the phone on behalf of our clients keeping in touch, explaining services, following up enquiries and generally carrying out essential business development activities to keep our clients on the radar of the companies they want to do business with.
We always say ‘we don’t sell’ but if you are good on the phone and can talk with confidence about your clients and what they do, it becomes natural to secure meetings and appointments on their behalf. Our key aim is to deliver successful communications that re-engage past or dormant customers; find new customers; and keep in touch with business contacts that may become customers in the future. All this takes time and that is what we find a lot of our customers really don’t have time to do, so IQ4B fills that gap!
In addition to the calls and communications we are also very good ‘hunters’ and build bespoke lists for customers to help them target new suspects; we are absolutely obsessive about keeping databases clean, up to date and relevant, and we do a bit of market sensing on the side.
We have successfully delivered confidential customer consultations, mystery shopping exercises and carried out market sensing on behalf of businesses wanting to know how their own customers perceive them; how responsive their competition is to enquiries etc and exploring the market potential for new services.
On reflection we have survived the covid years and are now looking towards a strong future with some lovely new clients to add to the loyal client-base we have worked with for several years. We base our business model on developing strong relationships with our clients and becoming part of their team.
