Audio-visual manufacturer, supplier and integrator, Alpha Digital Networks, has designed and manufactured new substitution boards for the Northern Premier League in time for the 2022/23 season.
Darwen based AV solutions provider, Alpha Digital Networks, is very proud to announce that they have delivered 40 new bespoke electronic substitution boards for the Northern Premier League.
The Northern Premier League has been using electronic substitution boards for a number of years and were looking to replace them with a local supplier with facilities in the UK, as currently they have to send them to Italy for repair which often left them without a board for several weeks at a time.
One of Alpha Digital’s Commercial Account Manager’s Robert Taylor met with the directors of the league to ensure they fully understood the requirements for the substitution boards. The main requirements were:
·Double Sided
·Light but Robust
·Easy to Operate
·Space for Sponsorship Logos
·A UK Swap out & Repair Service
·Hard-Shell Carry Case
Based on that brief they then consulted the engineers at their factory who created a bespoke designed Substitution Board solution that met and exceeded the brief.
On approval from the league the new substitution boards were manufactured by Alpha Digital at their factory.
The new double-sided LED substitution boards are easy-to-use, lightweight and came in a branded hard-shell carry case.
Alpha has designed the boards so that they can easily be repaired in the UK, cutting down the time needed and carbon footprint of the repair.
The first batch of 40 substitution boards was delivered in March, in plenty of time for the 2022/23 football season.
A second batch of 40 is currently on order and will be delivered to the league later this year, where they will use them to replace the existing boards as they go faulty.
