Farleys Solicitors Launch Immigration Service to Help Employers Prepare for Brexit

Leading law firm Farleys Solicitors has boosted its offering with the launch of a specialist immigration service, to help the region’s employers prepare for Brexit amidst the continued uncertainty over the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.

Immigration specialist Charlotte Ashton joins Farleys’ from MLP Law, bringing over six years of immigration law experience with her.

She is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and offers a range of specialist advice to both businesses and individuals on how to safeguard and mitigate the risks of impending changes in UK immigration policy, including helping employers to secure the rights of EU Workers, advising businesses on how to become sponsors in order to employ individuals from outside the UK, and compliance with UK Visas and Immigration and Home Office requirements.

Charlotte also supports individuals on a range of visas and applications for indefinite leave to remain, also advising international students from local universities about their options to remain in the UK in advance of the expiry of their Tier 4 visa.

Charlotte said,

In the current business climate, with Brexit on the horizon, and with many businesses now competing for talent on a global scale, it is important for employers and business owners to ensure that any workers living and working in the UK are doing so legally, to avoid any penalties and reputational damage, alongside protecting any business-critical talent and skills.
