The East Lancashire Hospice have launched their hugely successful Corporate Challenge for a third year. The Blackburn based hospice, which cares for people coping with a life limiting illness, is asking progressive, community minded businesses to see how much they can raise from £50 "seed" money, which is provided by headline sponsor Organic Insurance.
Corporate Fundraiser, Jennifer Quinn said "The Corporate Challenge has so many fantastic benefits for the participating companies; extremely valuable PR; team building; harnessing teams' creativity; involving suppliers and customers; fulfilling CSR; making some excellent business contacts. We know the Corporate Challenge works for businesses because lots of them are now in their third year. We love working with these companies and are deeply grateful for their support."
This year the Hospice will be celebrating it's 35th Anniversary so they are looking for 35 companies to go head to head. The Challenge starts in June and runs for 4 months until the end of September. The Awards ceremony will take place in October with categories such as "Best Team", "Standout Individual" and "The East Lancashire Hospice Award".
