Carl Knowles, Managing Director at Elektec, has lost a total of four stone and one pound in four months – an impressive average of a stone a month!
The weight loss challenge is part of East Lancashire Hospice's Corporate Challenge which sees local businesses taking part in different fundraisers to raise money for the Hospice.
Carl said: “Losing weight has been difficult, but having the hospice as motivation has just made me more determined to do well and to raise as much money as possible for them.
“I feel so much better in myself and have much more energy now than I used to.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported myself and the hospice by making a donation. Together, we have raised over £1,000.”
The challenge started on May 3 and came to an end on Wednesday, August 31.
A whopping total of £1,160 was raised by Elektec which will go towards the cost of running the hospice, which costs £11,000 a day.
