Bolton based Training Provider Alliance Learning are responding to the needs of the Greater Manchester Local Skills Improvement Plan, with the launch of short evening Welding Courses, accredited by City & Guilds. These will run from their Fabrication and Welding workshop at their site in Horwich, Bolton from January 2024. Alliance Learning will be offering both Level 1 and Level 2 courses and are also developing a Level 3 offer which will be launched in September 2024. The courses offered will cover Manual Metal Arc (MMA), Tungsten Insert Gas (TIG) and Metal Insert Gas (MIG) and will run from 12 – 17 weeks dependant on the level and topics covered. These courses are aimed at both individuals with no prior welding experience and are considering moving into this sector as a career, as well as those who are already working in the industry who wants to develop their welding skills further and advance their career.
