Thule Media are specialists in web design, software development and online marketing for manufacturing, trade and professional services.

We started out building search engines in 1998 at the height of the dot com era and consequently our experience and knowledge of search engine marketing via SEO and PPC methods is second to none in the North West.

Our founder; Carl Spencer used to be a rocket scientist (literally) working for BAE Systems and is also a specialist in the mathematics associated with advanced conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques.

Prior to creating Thule Media, Carl created the web's first pay as you go online brand monitoring tool that on a simple level would track brand keywords being discussed in forums and at a more advanced level would perform semantic analysis and predict events. With this software the company helped the Find Madeline McCann campaign via data mining assistance provided to the Leicestershire Police.

However, the migration of conversations away from online forums to secure social media sites combined with the financial crisis of 2008 forced the company to put its software skills and knowledge of all things search to more mainstream use.

We now work mainly with manufacturing companies with products worthy of export or, at least shipping to the other end of the country helping them better present their products or services as well as be found for such, even if it is in a foreign language.

We also work with service businesses operating across multiple locations and/or services and in particular nationwide trade services, franchises and legal services.

And, given the advanced level of our expertise, we have also built up experience and reputation for the successful recovery of websites that have been penalised by Google via Panda, Penguin or Phanteguin penalties.
