Affiniti Training is a Safety Training Provider specialising in courses on: First Aid, Health and Safety, Personal Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety, and Teaching. We are based in Lancashire, but provide training nationally.

About Us

We have been trading as a Training Provider since 1999, formerly as AM Training.

Affiniti Training is based in Morecambe Lancashire, but we deliver training throughout the County as well as all over the UK, we deliver courses in:

  Health & Safety (Including Risk Assessment, Manual Handling and COSHH)

  Food Safety

  Care Sector training (Infection Control, Medication etc.)

  Fire Safety/Fire Marshal

  Personal Safety & Conflict Management

  Breakaway & Restraint

Our course price includes our own certification, or you can choose to add on the Exam and Certification from a National Awarding Body. This option can save your company hundreds of pounds per course in training costs.

Also, our onsite or group price, is per course not per person, so this makes us much more affordable that a lot of providers.

We have a number of trainers who all have their own specialities and experience, who we try and match to our customers sector and needs.

Our Company Owner and Senior Trainer is

Andy Manwaring TMICM CertEd

Andy has experience as a College Lecturer, in Health & Social Care and Vocational training. His experience as a trainer began during his 12 years’ service with the Territorial Army (1984-1996). He later went on to work and teach in the security industry.

Andy has been on the curriculum development team for ‘First Aid in schools’ (for Lancashire County Council) and the First Aid qualifications for the CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health). He has also delivered train the trainers’ workshops for the CIEH and was an External Quality Assurer (EQA).

As well as teaching Physical Intervention (PI) for the Security Industry, Andy has helped the Lancashire County Council develop their own PI Model and risk assess it, along with a number of other companies for their Accreditation with BILD (British Institute of Learning Disabilities).

Affiniti Training is not only a Registered Quality Awards Centre with the ICM (Institute of Conflict Management), Andy is also on the National Board of Directors, and the focus groups for both the Health & Social Care/Education and the Security sectors.

Andy is a Consultant on the use of Force and Restraint, for the Police and Security Sectors, advising trainers and improving training.
