Travel updates

My heart is breaking for our industry today. If you've seen the news, Portugal, including Madeira & the Azores will be going onto the amber list from next Tuesday morning.
We had hoped that the Balearics and Canaries would be added to the green list, but no new destinations have been added. More countries have been added to the red list, including Costa Rica, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Trinidad & Tobago.
If a country goes on the amber list, that means passengers have to self isolate at home for 10 days upon return to the UK, unless they pay for the test to release scheme. They will also need 2 PCR tests when they are back in the UK if they do continue with their travel plans.
I am gutted for everyone who has booked a long awaited holiday for Portugal, Madeira & Azores, including my 2 lovely clients who only booked on Tuesday for travel this coming Sunday. I will now spend this evening unbooking their holiday, but I will do my utmost to make sure they get a full refund.
Good news is that Iceland will now let you in if you have been fully vaccinated.
