Napthens continues to invest in the future with six trainees joining the firm for September 2021.
Alexandra Stanton joins the employment team in across Preston and Liverpool while Caitlin Biggs and Joel Atherton take their first seats in commercial property and Anna Banks joins the family team based in Preston.
Two existing employees – Kaine Davey and Lorna Kelly – are moving to a training contract in employment and rural law respectively.
Four trainees recently completed their training contract and have qualified into departments across the firm. Charlotte Bee, Ashleigh Green, Stacy Kinsey and Bethanie Crawford all qualified in September and took up positions with the firm.
Napthens is committed to appointing a number of trainees each year, offering on-the-job training for those looking to pursue a career in the law, gaining experience in different departments across Napthens offices and ultimately graduating as fully qualified solicitors.
Napthens HR and Operations Director, Nicola Mason, explained that the programme was an important way for the firm to continue to invest in its future: “Our trainee programme has always been key to our long-term growth strategy. Developing and investing in future talent is something we are particularly passionate about and will continue to be a huge part of our firm and who we are.
“While have had a number of more senior hires this year, growing our own talent has been a fundamental part of our success and we’re proud of our trainee track record.
“Our programme ensures that each trainee obtains hands on, practical experience in a range of different disciplines. This helps them see what life is like at a busy law firm, as they learn from our experienced lawyers and gain the knowledge they need to have successful careers in the legal profession.”
Recently, the current Napthens trainees embarked on a charity walk to raise funds for the newly formed Napthens Foundation which supports good causes across the North West.
The group walked from Napthens’ Preston office to its Kendal office, a total of 44 miles, and raised over £5,000.
