Money Week- changing circumstances

Welcome to Talk Money Week- which is an annual campaign to get the nation talking about money.

Did you know 78% of people In the UK have felt overwhelmed and unable to cope at least once last year due to money troubles [1]

20% think they are bad at managing money1.

We’re all familiar with the things we can do to keep fit and well – physically and mentally. And while our financial wellbeing is just as important, we still find it very difficult to talk about money matters.

So in support of Talk Money Week, which runs from 9 to 13 November, each day a member of the Rachael Bell Wealth Management team will be hosting a social media takeover and discussing different areas of financial management.

Changing Circumstances

Pamela Brown who is our Client Experience Director is addressing the needs of those developing in their careers and with young families.

Pam focuses on preparing for unforeseen circumstances and saving.

Even before the pandemic hit, there were 12.8 million households in the UK with less than £1,500 in savings – including some with no savings at all[2].

It’s clear that it’s more important than ever to take greater responsibility for our financial futures. The coronavirus pandemic has added an additional consideration: touching every corner of our lives and throwing a stark light on our financial needs and priorities.

‘Time is lifes most precious commodity, and this is where planning comes in….laying the foundations to your plan now will mean having the means and the time as you move through the next life stage’.
