Size Is Irrelevant

By

I followed this car the other day and noticed the 'added extra' to the back of the car.

It made me laugh, but also really resonated with me as let's face it, it's hardly a plush 4x4, a Lambo or Porsche, but you know it's working hard, 'haulin' ass', and getting the job done.

You don't have to be some perceived big brand, organisation or have a considerable budget to spend on marketing, employees, or branding. If your organisation is doing its job well, providing excellent customer service, and communicating an authentic and valuable brand presence, then there are many advantages to being a smaller business.

A smaller business is more agile & can react more quickly to market changes, product enquiries and, often, complaints or feedback.

A small business often offers a more valuable customer relationship, more of an intimate, personal service and commitment.

Often what a smaller business says it does, it does (controversial I know!). Whether that's along the lines of sustainable activity, sourcing & delivering efficiency or caring about what they offer and service.

A smaller business often has a great culture (not always!), because those working within the business are in it for the long term, know what the current end goal is, and want to help achieve it.

So next time you see a little Smart car 'haulin' ass' up a hill, give it a toot & a wave, because it's probably working twice as hard, delivering just as well as any other flash supercar, and loving every second while it does it.
