Do you want to make 2026 your BEST year yet? Here are 10 questions to help...

By
Ok... This isn't strictly speaking Cybersecurity and Data Protection related - As these are 10 questions I ask of myself and my close friends (Admittedly, I sometimes I re-word them to be more about business)...

If you want to make 2026 your best year ever, here are the 10 questions from "Your Best Year Yet" by Jinny Ditzler, with a clear summary of the intention behind each one.

1. What did you accomplish in 2025?
Intention: To anchor yourself in evidence, not feeling. This question builds self-trust by making progress visible, especially the things you tend to minimise or forget.

2. What were your biggest disappointments?
Intention: To surface unmet expectations without judgement. Disappointments often point to values, desires, or boundaries that were ignored or overridden.

3. What did you learn?
Intention: To turn experience into wisdom. This question reframes everything—successes and failures—as data that strengthens discernment and decision-making.

4. How did you limit yourself, and how can you stop doing that?
Intention: To identify self-imposed constraints rather than external ones. It moves you from blame or resignation into agency and choice.

5. What was the most important thing you did for yourself?
Intention: To recognise self-respect in action. This highlights moments where you acted in alignment with your wellbeing, identity, or standards.

6. What were your biggest time-wasters?
Intention: To reclaim energy. This is not about productivity culture; it’s about noticing where attention leaked away from what actually mattered to you.

7. What brought you the most joy?
Intention: To identify life-giving patterns. Joy here is diagnostic—it reveals what nourishes you and what deserves more space in the year ahead.

8. What are you most proud of?
Intention: To strengthen internal validation. This question helps separate your own standards from applause, outcomes, or other people’s approval.

9. What was your single biggest challenge?
Intention: To name the true weight-bearing struggle of the year. Clarifying this prevents you from carrying forward unresolved strain unconsciously.

10. Based on what you've learned, what are your intentions for the coming year?
Intention: To set direction rather than resolutions. This question integrates insight, values, and desire into a forward-facing orientation you can return to.

Once you've done all the above, you'll have a blueprint for 2026... And if that includes ensuring your business grows, and you can build trust with clients, then get in touch and let me show you how Data Protection and Security can support you 🙂

Happy 2026!!
