Sponsorship Announcement – STEM Construction supporting grass roots motorsport with Tom Holden #87.
Last week the STEM Construction offices were visited by a confident, charming young man who’s moving up the Junior Karting ladder fast. Tom Holden, who’s just 13 years old, presented his case extremely well. He’s even prepared a brochure outlining his progress, and has built a website where people can stay updated on his results.
We were impressed by Tom and we’re excited by the prospect of supporting this young man.
Tom started racing in 2019 after a taste of the sport at Rochdale’s Team Karting. He was bitten by the karting bug immediately: the venue’s owner commented that Tom had the makings of a great driver, so the lad’s future was suddenly mapped out. Three years of racing later, Tom is moving into a new age bracket which means he will need sponsorship to continue his success.
2023 Plans
Tom is planning to compete in the MSA (Motor Sports Association) Junior Rotox championship. It’s a thrilling sport, with karts reaching up to 75mph. Races will take place at Three Sisters, just down the road in Leigh, and at PFI race track in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
We’re excited to see how Tom grows in the sport. If you can help by sponsoring his progress, take a look at his website.
