Slater Heelis launches Christmas card competition with Sale primary school pupils

By

Greater Manchester’s leading full-service law firm Slater Heelis has invited pupils from Sale’s Springfield Primary School to show their creative flair in a competition to design the firm’s annual Christmas card.

The winning card will be distributed among Slater Heelis’ network of clients, many of whom are based in the Greater Manchester region. The initiative has seen a total of 200 pupils bring their creativity and festive spirit to artistically reflect on the themes of Christmas and winter. 69 artworks have been shortlisted, and are currently on display in Slater Heelis’ windows in its Sale office, giving the young artists an opportunity to brighten up their neighbourhood during the festive season.

Slater Heelis’ Managing Partner Chris Bishop comments:

“After a quiet, and rather isolating Christmas last year, we wanted to organise something special to connect with the younger generation and help bring the streets of Sale to life. The response from the Springfield pupils has been outstanding and a special thanks goes to Daniel, whose artwork will adorn our 2021 Christmas card.

“As an independent law firm with a proud heritage in Sale, we feel it’s our duty to engage with Greater Manchester’s communities to help make our local area thrive. Being a ‘good citizen’ includes joining forces with different organisations to improve the place we call home, making it a better place to visit, enjoy and experience for people of all ages.”
