NWL Chamber of Commerce give full backing to Lancashare!

The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce have given their full backing to ‘Lancashare’, a brand new concept that aims bring the counties business community closer together to generate economic prosperity at a local level. The NWL Chamber, who celebrate their centenary this year, join ‘Lancashare’ as members, sponsors and supporters of the new business support service which is attracting members on a rapidly growing pace across the county, aiming to change the way we do business in Lancashire. The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce (NWLCC) is the region’s largest business membership organisation representing 1,600 members in Lancashire.

Answering why ‘Lancashare’, Babs, Murphy, Chief Executive at North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce said:  We are delighted to support this new enterprise.  We believe that an on-line central information point for businesses fills a much need gap in the market place.  This is clearly demonstrated with the level of support Lancashare has generated in such a short time from its inception”.

Lisa Edge, Director of Lancashare said, “The response to Lancashare has been overwhelming.  The NWL Chamber have been instrumental in the regions business community for over 100 years, they see the value in a successful business community and they work to support their members with a range of hugely beneficial services, events, training, support and growth initiatives. We are delighted to have them as supporters of Lancashare!  I’ve worked with the business community in Lancashire for almost 2 decades and their voice has just got louder.  Lancashare was created in response to that.  Businesses now have an online marketplace where they can liaise, share best practice, generate leads, support local businesses, find out about funding, events, awards, training, networking groups and access to recruit local talent.  To have all of this information in a central portal will be of huge value.  It was a clear need from business”.

NWL Chamber of Commerce join a wonderful line up of sponsors including Forbes Solicitors, Accrington & Rossendale College, LH Recruitment, Global Radio, The Shout Network, BNI, SRSCC, The Federation of Small Businesses, Moose Media, Bespoke Bids and The Royal Bank of Scotland to name a few!  The best opportunity for this county to prosper is for us all to work together, to supply, promote and help each other to grow.  With almost 50,000 businesses in Lancashire, there’s enough for everyone, if we work together.  The response, particularly from the private sector, has been huge and the impact will be clear to see as it develops.  Lancashare is a new way of doing business in Lancashire and launches on Monday 31st October 2016!
