Leeds, 25 April 2022: Yorkshire-based networking business, meeow, has today announced that it has changed its name to meeow on-demand networking.
This change has been prompted in a move to further align the business with the needs and demands of its membership, alongside their lifestyle and work expectations.
Since the launch of the bespoke platform in May 2021, members have been able to access unlimited online video networking meetings, 24/7, where they meet with up to 3 other small business owners each time. The new name reflects this objective, while the platform itself remains unchanged.
Chris Rabbitt, co-founder and CEO, said: “Right from the start we wanted our members to be able to access meeow at any time, to connect with others and grow their business on their own terms.
“Yes, we’re an online business, but that’s not what makes us different. Unique to meeow is the ability to jump onto a networking session whenever our members want - networking around their schedule and not vice versa.”
“The way we live our lives has evolved over the years. We order food on-demand, we watch TV on-demand, we catch a cab on-demand. Now everyone can network on-demand.”
The platform has seen great growth since its launch and is now approaching 2,000 members globally, and the business will be launching its next funding round in the next few months.
Simon Glenn, co-founder and CPO, agreed: “With growth comes more opportunities for our community. Everyday we are hearing stories of members who’ve found business and life-changing opportunities through connections they’ve made on meeow, even creating whole businesses on the back of the platform.
“They’re meeowing on-demand, whenever they want and as often as they like. The networking world is changing.”
All Share members are entitled to full and free access to meeow on-demand networking for the duration of their Share membership. Please visit https://lancashare.co.uk/businesses/meeow and request an introduction to claim your offer.
