#lancashareday celebrations on 27th November 2018 at the stunning venue, The Villa, Wrea Green, entertaining businesses from across the county as they gather for Lancashares' 2nd birthday celebrations.

Guests at the celebration event, will enjoy an afternoon of all things Lancashire, including entertainment, networking, fizz, a 3 course Lancashire lunch, a Town Crier, special messages from Jonathan Warburton and Jake Berry as well as a few more surprises along the way - Lancashire style!

Lancashare was developed by businesses, for business, but benefits everyone in the county and has continued to grow rapidly over the last 2 years.  Hundreds are now part of the growing online platform as more and more proud Lancastrian businesses stand shoulder to shoulder, in a bid to 'pool' the counties resources in one place and make Lancashire THE most collaborative county it can be.  

Lancashare was launched on Lancashire Day 2016 and is filled with resources to help local businesses and communities.  By working together, the counties businesses find more opportunities, through local procurement, they are helping to reduce the counties carbon footprint and keep more money in Lancashire.  Those using the site can apply for free job alerts, advertise vacancies, find local suppliers and connections, funding, advice, tender opportunities, skills & training, events, awards, networking groups and property across the county!

The platform is the first of it's kind and aims to make life and business easier for all.  In less than 2 years, it has attracted hundreds of members, 10 award nominations, has launched in Manchester (Mancheshare) and both platforms (along with any other northern counties launched) has been officially approved as Northern Powerhouse Partners.

The Lancashare Day celebration will be held on Lancashire Day, 27th November 2018 (commemorating the day in 1295 when Lancashire first sent its representatives to the houses of parliament).
