Born and raised in Littleborough, Rochdale, Josh now lives with his partner Betty. They’re expecting their first child, Ezra, in December, and are looking forward to the next chapter as a growing family.

Josh holds a BA Hons in American History and has built his IT career through self-teaching and hands-on experience. His passion for computers started at a young age, and he’s always enjoyed putting his skills to the test in real-world environments.

Before joining Seriun, Josh worked at McBride as a Senior Service Desk Analyst on a fixed-term contract, supporting SAP upgrades and SharePoint modernisation. Prior to that, he spent two years at Agilisys as a First Line Service Desk Analyst, gaining valuable experience in the MSP space.

Now working as a Service Desk Engineer at Seriun, Josh focuses on troubleshooting, diagnostic testing and resolving user-side issues and requests. He’s committed to growing his skillset and is always looking for opportunities to learn and improve. His personal goals include raising his family, buying a home and building a stable future.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys gaming with Betty, but his real passion lies in miniature painting and diorama design. He creates custom armours using 3D printing, airbrushing and hand detailing, often inspired by pop culture favourites like Star Wars, Warhammer 40,000 and Helldivers. He’s recently launched an Etsy store where people can commission bespoke designs and order unique pieces.

Josh’s favourite food is lasagna, and the most impactful place he’s visited is Sachsenhausen concentration camp. He travelled there at 16 as part of a history trip, and the experience left a lasting impression, fuelling his lifelong interest in history and education.
