DATE FOR THE DIARY - THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ASK THE QUESTIONS AS WE WELCOME DOMINIC HARRISON, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELL-BEING TO THE NEXT HIVE EVENT
When: Thursday, 17th June 2021
Time: from 5 - 6.30pm
In view of tonight's announcement by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, we are delighted to welcome Dominic Harrison, Director of Public Health and Well-being for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, to lead our next HIVE event and answer your questions on what the delay to the road map and easing of lock down restrictions means. He will discuss how this will impact the businesses of the Borough and how we can emerge from this stronger, what learning's do we take and how we can ensure that restrictions will eventually be lifted to get life back to 'normality'.
As a member of the Blackburn with Darwen CCG Board and a Visiting Professor at the University of Central Lancashire, Dominic will host an exclusive event via Zoom on Thursday, 17th June from 5 - 6.30pm.
Dominic will host the floor for 30 mins to explain the local situation in light of the most recent data and announcements made tonight regarding unlocking on the 21st June.
He will also take questions and answers from the Zoom audience towards your concerns ‘warts and all’ - but keeping this business and employee focused in a moderated manner. He can discuss the importance of regular staff testing, self - isolation of positive cases and the importance of the wider vaccine programme.
To register your interest and attendance at the event, please email kara@kr-pr.co.uk with the subject 'Attending Dominic Harrison Event' and a Zoom link will be sent to you in advance.
