So why is Google making the switch...
In a few months, Universal Analytics (UA) will be discontinued and replaced by Google's next generation of measurement solutions. Google has urged users to switch to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) as soon as possible because Universal Analytics will stop processing new hits as of July 1st, 2023. Although you can continue using Universal Analytics until that date, it is recommended that you switch to Google Analytics 4 sooner rather than later.
