GB Shared Founder Joins National Steering Group for Community Leadership Programme

Lisa Edge, founder of GB Shared, has been invited to join the steering group for a pioneering new leadership programme developed by the National Communities and Resource Centre (NCRC), based at Trafford Hall in Cheshire. The programme is designed to empower community champions across the UK, equipping them with the tools and support to drive meaningful change at a local level.
NCRC’s mission is to close the inequality gap by providing individuals, families, communities, and anchor organisations—such as those in the housing sector—with the skills and resources to tackle local challenges and influence national policy. Their new Community Powerhouse programme aims to spotlight and support grassroots leaders who are making a difference in their communities.
GB Shared, under Lisa’s leadership, has become a national force for good—encouraging collaboration across the public, private, and third sectors. By centralising and sharing regional resources by county, GB Shared helps rebuild local infrastructure, promote sustainable business practices, and connect the UK through a growing network of local and ethical supply chains.
