Competing for the titles of Creative Business of the Year and Sole Trader, prolific networker Liz hopes to pull-off a double win and said: "It's been a tough year thanks to Covid, firstly because businesses cut back on promotional activity and stopped commissioning photography and there have also been very few events to cover, and then, secondly, because extra Covid-safe measures have made it all a bit trickier to do.

"Getting through to the finals in my local business awards feels fantastic, but I'll be over the moon if I can actually take home two trophies as well!"

Liz offers a range of professional photography services, capturing images that perfectly show-off people, products and places for her clients.

She's up against some tough competition in her categories but believes she has what it takes: "When people see my work, the creative quality speaks for itself. This, coupled with recommendations from agency partners and testimonials is what has helped me carve out a sustainable business as a sole trader, doing something I’m passionate about. I'm hopeful that the judges will see this too, and can't wait to find out," concluded Liz.

The Rossendale Business Awards are now in their 12th year and saw a record 184 entries in 2021. The winners in the 17 categories up for grabs will be announced at a ceremony on 1st December 2021.
