As part of our ongoing commitment to support the Armed Forces community, UK K9 Security Group Ltd has submitted for its Silver Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

The award follows a pledge to support the Armed Forces community, as part of the Armed Forces Covenant. This means UK K9 Security Group Ltd recognises the value that serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.

Shane Evans Managing Director, having served before starting his journey in the canine sector says:

“Armed Forces personnel and their civilian counterparts are making risk management decisions every day. It is vitally important that the armed forces and businesses are mutually engaged. We are proud to be recognised by submitting the application, building on the previous recognition of our achievements. We have made accessible, relevant training and qualifications that will help military personnel make the transition into the civilian world.

Many of the skills learnt by service personnel naturally crossover into the world of risk management and we are keen to ensure these skills are recognised, and that we can help support their lifelong learning, career transition and progression where possible”.
