A NEW networking group is inviting local businesswomen to its first
meeting at Oldham Golf Club.
The Oldham Unique Ladies’ group is aimed at helping local
businesswomen meet each other and network. As leader Saira Azam
explained: “We want to give businesswomen the chance to make new and
useful contacts in a pleasant atmosphere with no crippling membership
fees.”
Unique Ladies is the brainchild of businesswoman Suzy Orr. In 2015, she
decided that she wanted to create a new type of networking group which
did not ask for large membership fees but instead offered an informal and
effective way for women to get together.
The formula worked and, after the initial group, more Unique Ladies’
groups followed in Bolton, Salford and Preston. More groups have now
been added across the North West in Bury, Chorley, Stockport, Southport,
Liverpool, Blackpool, Blackburn, Hyndburn, Wigan and the Ribble
Valley.
“I am delighted that we are able to have a Unique Ladies’ group in
Oldham and we have many interesting and inspirational speakers
planned,” stated Saira Azam.
“There is plenty of business passed at the Unique Ladies’ groups in
enjoyable and informative meetings that only cost £20 a session. I would
love to hear from more local businesswomen who would like to come
along to join us on the 26 of September 2019 at 10.30 am.”
