Are you one of the 60%?

Are you one of the 60% of UK households still on a variable tariff?

What does this actually mean - well it means your energy goes up and/or down every 3 months with the Price Cap.

Have you increased your direct debit in line with all the increases over the last 12 months to ensure that you don't end up in debt? or have you left your direct debit the same?

If the answer to the above is no (you have done nothing)  - then its really important you get advice to help you understand your bill, adjust it accordingly and help you go into a fixed or tracker option to safeguard your future hard earned money.

Not taking action is like put the heating on and leaving your front door open!

There are ways you can "save a little", but the current world situation is determining our future energy prices.

With commercial energy - your energy comes out of its current deal, you get offered a deal based on today's price, and fix it in, so that you are not on very high out of contract rates.  However, with the domestic market there is a 6 month lag.   Domestic energy prices are "predicted" until the Regulator OFGEM sets the maximum figure that the energy companies can charge known as the Price Cap.  (Capped prices the energy companies can charge). For example: the big increases in the prices of oil/gas in the summer of 2026 (June, July, Aug) determine our price cap increase in Jan 2027.

When you read your energy bill - do you think - "No Idea What it All Means"?

Maybe you just look at the debit or credit figure on the front page?
So my advice is to get a free bill check.  Help you understand the 6 elements of an energy bill that you need to know to help you now and in the future.

If you would like more advice on energy bills, broadband, mobile SIM options (at work or home) and much more - drop me a message - it doesn't cost you anything - but it might save you lots.

Are you a business owner that would really like to help your staff keep money in their pockets, rather than struggling?   If so, lets plan together and provide financial wellbeing sessions via your HR team or directly.
