Local business women are not going to want to miss the Ribble Valley Unique Ladies free online
networking event in July as they are delighted to welcome none other than Edwina Currie as their
keynote speaker.
Edwina Currie, renowned as a writer, broadcaster, former Government Minister and MP and also the
Founder and Chairman of High Peak Business Club will be speaking to the women’s only Networking
group on July 16 th where she’ll be taking part as their inspirational speaker for the meeting.
Suzy Orr, founder of Unique Ladies said: “This is a real coup to have Edwina Currie speak at one of
our events, we’re delighted to welcome her and we’re sure every single member will be incredibly
delighted to hear what she has to say. We want to welcome any local businesswoman to book on
and attend the meeting, it’s most certainly not to be missed!”
Unique Ladies is the brainchild of Lancashire Business star, Suzy Orr who in 2015 decided she
wanted to create a type of Networking event with minimal fees and offering an informal and
effective way for women to connect, no matter where they are on their business journey. The initial
formula worked so well that more Unique Ladies groups quickly followed in Salford, Preston and
Liverpool. The group now holds over 15 groups every month, with more planned launches
throughout 2020.
