The Chamber requests the pleasure of your company at the first ‘Hangout’ of 2022. Join us in raising a glass with, in honour of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee; in partnership with the Winckley Square Community Interest Company, Preston BID, and the Friends of Winckley Square.
2022 marks the momentous occasion of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service. The Queen also holds the title of the Duke of Lancaster, therefore has a special relationship with Lancashire.
The Georgian gardens of Winckley Square will be opening their gates for a majestic celebration. Join us for a spot of afternoon tea and a tipple, alongside our special guest speaker, Dr. John Mohin OBE.
John is a former Director of Corporate Affairs at Wedgewood and has been credited with transforming the company during his time there, “His inspiration was the company’s fortune” – Rt. Hon. The Lord Wedgewood. He is also an Ambassador for the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise at UCLan.
John negotiated alliances with Ralph Lauren and Martha Stewart and was granted the Royal Warrant by appointment to Her Majesty The Queen and HRH Prince Charles to advise on official gifts. Wedgewood’s collections continue to grace the tables of monarchs, Heads of State, the Vatican, and the White House.
This is a unique opportunity for you to connect with your fellow local business community and enhance your profile, whilst enjoying an entertaining and special afternoon in great surroundings – remember your business cards, and creative collateral for the ‘Hangout lines’.
Places are in high demand for this important event marking an occasion of national significance.
