GB Shared
Join us for this open event for anyone who is keen to support this and future generations aged 16-24.
As the global pandemic hit, young adults were massively affected, from job losses to homelessness, an increase in mental health to a lack of future opportunities. With double the amount of under 24's now on universal credit, will the job market for them soon see signs of recovery?
The Gen is our new, national youth platform schedule for release in the NW in April 2021. Backed by Innovate UK, 5 Northern Powerhouse Partners and thousands of businesses, the aim is to share and centralise opportunities and resources for young adults to ensure an even playing field for all.
Our countywide share sites across the NW are 100% powered by businesses. Those businesses are now keen to share opportunities with young people; from jobs to funding, placements to internships, life skills and career advice to practical tips and discounted services.
Join us for this hour long session to discuss all the possibilities of sharing AND to find out how these businesses will be gaining brand awareness as well as leaving a legacy for this and future generations.
This session is open to all.
