On Thursday 13th July two popular business networking events are combining to create a bumper business evening at the new Science & Engineering Innovation Centre at Runshaw College’s Euxton Lane Campus. Hosted jointly by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and Choose Chorley for Business the venue on Buckshaw Village will provide a focal point for businesses to network from across Chorley and the wider North and Western Lancashire Chamber area. As part of the programme for the evening Harrison Drury Solicitors, Chamber event sponsors will be running a workshop on the theme of up-skilling and skills shortages and Runshaw College will present a workshop on the theme of apprenticeships and the new apprenticeship levy. There will also be tours of the building with light refreshments available. This free event will allow businesses to make new contacts from Buckshaw and beyond, network and gain useful insights into current apprenticeship arrangements in an area of Chorley that has seen major transformation and development This looks like being a lively and busy event for our first joint venture.
