Community & Business Partners
Every Wednesday at 8:00am-9:00am.
Community & Business Partners, with the support of one of our team of business mentors, Peter Dickinson from KUB founded the weekly peer group as a direct result of the COVID-19 Pandemic in April 2020.
Since that date, we have supported businesses from Lancashire and the Northwest, every week, ensuring that you have access to ongoing support especially in these challenging times.
The Lets Get Talking, Weekly Wednesday Peer Group from Community & Business Partners has been setup to give you a forum to discuss current business-related issues with a group of your peers, whilst giving you networking opportunities.
The format is that you will work with a group of 8-12 peers on a Wednesday morning at 08:00 via Zoom. There will be short introductions and then you will select a topic to discuss. Examples include; how to generate leads, how best to support your employees, working from home etc and monthly 30/60 and 90 day plans. The group meets only for an hour but meets once a week so that topics are relevant to what is happening that week. With all the stress of running a business during this crisis it’s your opportunity to discuss your challenges with fellow business owners and get ideas on what you can do to help yourself. Attendance is flexible so you can jump on when you feel the time is right without the obligation to having to be there every week.
The meeting will be facilitated by Peter Dickinson who has worked with over 400 businesses from a wide range of sectors over the last 19 years. Peter has facilitated a range of different types of peer-groups of businesses. As the weeks progress, guest mentors with different specialisms will be introduced to the sessions.
