The panel has been specifically brought together to offer their insights, experience and expertise on reproductive health in the workplace.

Panel Members

This panel will be chaired by Laura Darnley, Partner in our Employment and Pensions team and she will be joined by:

  • Eileen Burbidge MBE, Executive Director, Fertifa - Eileen applies her passion for inclusive and accessible reproductive healthcare after experiencing her own fertility journeys and because she is currently perimenopausal on HRT. 
  • Caroline Walters, Co-Founder and Coach, Mission Menopause - Caroline is a qualified Executive Menopause Coach, specialising in menopause awareness education and leadership coaching in the workplace. 
  • Joanne Waterworth, Head of Employer Services at at Working Families - the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers.  Their mission is to remove the barriers that people with caring responsibilities face in the workplace.
  • Nick Campbell, Partner and Head of Employment, Liverpool, in the Brabners LLP Employment and Pensions team –  Nick is a key figure in our work to raise awareness around reproductive health issues in the workplace. He feels passionately about addressing these concerns and was involved in our contribution to the Women and Equalities Committee’s “Menopause and the Workplace” inquiry. 

During what promises to be a lively and insightful panel discussion, we will be covering topics such as:

  • What impact does reproductive health issues have on employees in the workplace? 
  • What is the impact on the mental health/wellbeing of employees? 
  • What is the biggest blocker to addressing these issues at work? 
  • How can organisations play their part in raising awareness of reproductive health issues and educating employees/managers on these issues? 
  • How can organisations obtain engagement on these issues? 
  • How can we obtain engagement from the wider workforce including those not directly impacted by these issues? 
  • Which approaches and initiatives have worked well, and which haven’t?  
  • What are the legal risks when these issues arise?
