Brabners LLP
Charities are everywhere. Not just the obvious ones - Children in Need, Barnardo's, RSPB, RSPCA, etc - but thousands dealing with any worthwhile area of life you could care to mention: from education to amateur sport, conservation, health, the arts and, of course, the protection and care of the most vulnerable in our society.
All of us are touched by the work of charities in some way, at some point in our lives, and you may well be a charity trustee or volunteer, or your business may support one or more as a corporate sponsor/partner.
Nobody needs reminding that these are times of great change, when the work of charities is needed more than ever, but equally the charity sector has never been under greater scrutiny - from the public, the media, government, or a host of regulators, in particular the Charity Commission.
Brabners have the only locally-based, dedicated charities team in the North West and next week we are running our (free-of-charge) annual charity law and regulatory update in Liverpool and Manchester, on Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24 January respectively.
You would be welcome to join us - here are details of what we will cover and how you can book your place:
