Chamber Low Carbon
Welcoming remarks from Adrian Phillips, Preston City Council - Chief Executive Officer and what energy efficiency, cost reduction, carbon reduction plans and net zero, advice and bespoke support is available to the business community of Preston from Stephen Sykes, Director of Sustainability, East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BOOST and Preston City Council are supporting Lancashire businesses in saving money, reducing their carbon footprint, stimulating low carbon innovation, and achieving their Net Zero Carbon ambitions.
These UK Government supported programmes are committed to the provision of a suite of FULLY FUNDED services aimed to help businesses improve energy and environmental efficiencies, introduce on site renewable energy generation and save money.
We’re also here to help you if you are developing a new piece of low carbon technology and want to get it into the market, see it manufactured locally or find your dream customer. Innovation support will comprise of 1-2-1 bespoke advice with specialist consultants.
Every eligible business (Preston City Council based of any size), signing up to the projects are entitled to fully funded support in environmental and energy saving/efficiency good practice, developing Net Zero targets and Carbon Reduction Plans and guidance on low carbon technology adoption. The support will be delivered via a suite of events, masterclasses and 1-2-1 bespoke support.
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
