The UK has been faced with a cost-of-living crisis owing partly to steep inflation and soaring energy prices. The cost-of-living crisis has not only had a profound impact on businesses, some of which were only just getting back on their feet, but is also having a significant impact on employees’ individual circumstances and wellbeing.
Against this backdrop, businesses continue to be faced with balancing the challenge of supporting their employees, whilst also having to make business critical decisions to stay afloat.
To help businesses understand how they can respond to the cost-of-living crises, we will be exploring ways to proactively and positively navigate the difficult road ahead, including; upskilling of workers, changing terms and conditions of employment and utilising agile working as a tool to maximise efficiency and productivity from businesses existing workforce.
Whilst ultimately redundancies may not be avoidable entirely over the coming months, steps can be taken now to build a more resilient workforce in which the employees feel supported, and can thrive as the economy and our businesses begin to recover.
Join us at the next business briefing to explore how your business can respond to and navigate the cost-of-living crisis, whilst future proofing your business for the unknown challenges that may lay ahead.
