NWL Chamber of Commerce
Help for Brexit is a service run by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce aimed at helping businesses prepare for the UK’s departure from the EU on 31 October.
The service provides free-to-attend seminars, workshops and webinars, as well as expert information and access to specialist advisers.
North & Western Lancashire enjoys a high proportion of immigrant workers across all major sectors focusing on: Tourism, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Retail, Leisure & Hospitality and the Service Sector with many of employing immigrant workers who are yet to register for EU settlement status.
Businesses also tell us of their concerns about business continuity, a future skilled workforce, cross-border issues, qualification recognition, travel implications (temporary travel for the servicing of contracts and other business related purposes) and the retention of a skilled workforce.
This highly FREE interactive workshop will provide delegates with:
1)
An understanding of how your immigrant employees need to register for
settlement status.
2) A willingness from the employer to
guide immigrant employees through the registration process.
3) Business are able to plan for their
future skills requirements.
4) Businesses are provided with
information on how to retain skills and labour.
5) Businesses understand the steps they
need to hire someone from outside the UK.
