An Audience with an Adopter in Lancashire

Brian and Darren attended one our first virtual events back in September 2020 and were approved as adopters in April 2021.  Both felt that adoption was the right route for them and knew they could offer a loving home to a child who was unable to safely stay with their birth family.

They were quickly matched with their son who was 11 months old at the time.  Despite the risk of future and significant needs of their son, it was just love at first sight. They did their research and knew this was right for their family and that they could offer this little boy a loving and caring future.  In October 2022 and at the age of 16 months their beautiful son completed their family and welcomed for who he is.

At this event, they are happy to share their journey with you, the support they received from Caritas Care and how adoption has changed their life for the better.  They will also be available to answer any questions you have about adoption and the process.
