This year Foster Care Fortnight 2022 will take place from 9-22 May and the theme is #FosteringCommunities. We want to celebrate the strength and resilience of fostering communities and all they do to ensure children are cared for and supported to thrive.
Come and join us for our second ‘Audience with a Foster Carer’ event on 18 May 2022 at 7.30pm
George (and his wife Annemarie) have been foster carers for over 10 years. They transferred agencies to Caritas Care in 2017. Since being approved, they have cared for seven foster children in total and their current foster child has been living with them for over 4 years.
George has agreed to share his fostering journey and story with you at this event to celebrate Foster Care Fortnight and to encourage other people who have been interested in fostering to take the next steps and join Caritas Care’s Fostering community.
