Two
years ago, Lisa Edge launched Lancashare, an online platform based on
promoting, and bringing together Lancashire based businesses. The concept was
simple, let's work together and keep this county running and help it to
prosper. Two years on, there are hundreds of members of Lancashare, and last
month, we launched Cumbriashare.
I
am delighted and honoured to be Cumbriashare's manager and I am looking forward
to this fantastic journey that we are going to have together. Myself and Lisa
are working very hard getting everything in place and we are now fully up and
running. We welcomed our first 'paying' member, Windermere based estate
agents Ashdown Jones last week, our founder member helped Cumbria take its
first step towards being the most collaborative county it can be! We are
thrilled to welcome you to the share family.
The
formula of our 'share' community will be a replica from our southern
neighbours, so we have an advantage of the 2 years’ of experience that Lisa and
her members have gained. Any Cumbrian based business can join us, we give huge
returns for a small annual fee, moreover, there's no pressure on you joining,
use the site for free, it’s going to be a fantastic resource for you and every
click will benefit a Cumbrian business!
All
we ask is that all members use the platform on a regular basis, whatever you
share, we share, we track and we measure so you can see the return. There are
so many fantastic Cumbrian businesses that can easily work together, all we
have to do is 'share' our knowledge and expertise to ensure that we grow
