Businesses are starting to look and see how to return to the 'new normal', and I say the new normal because we are unlikely to return to exactly as it was before. The spectre of yet another Covid variant has reminded us what we had to endure during 2020 with working from home, learning new technology and replacing face to face meetings with an online equivalent. However, through all of that and to a certain extent, quite a bit of financial help from the Government, businesses are now picking themselves up and moving forward.
So what is the new normal??
Is it back to work, same desk, Monday - Friday, face mask stowed at the back of the drawer and sanitiser dispensers stacked in the cupboard. Probably not. We still need to keep our colleagues and ourselves safe and well, so a hybrid working week is becoming the option of choice. Work in the office part of the week and work from home for the remainder. Reduce our travel and our carbon footprint, start saving our planet too.
So what is iDC Business Communications doing to help businesses move to the new normal?
Well, we are extending Microsoft 365, the Apps and Utilities your business uses on a daily basis, with Microsoft Business Voice. We are moving your business number to Microsoft Teams so not only can you call colleagues with audio and video, you can connect to the public network, contacting clients too. All from the office, your home office or anywhere you have an internet connection using PC/Mac, Mobile or a desk phone.
So what is Microsoft Business Voice??
Microsoft Business Voice is a bolt-on for Microsoft 365 Basic, Standard and Premium licenses allowing us to transfer your business number to Microsoft Teams.
Some of the advantages of Microsoft Business Voice:
✅ Automatically answer a call giving a bespoke welcome message.
✅ Queue your callers (Max: 200) providing bespoke promotional audio.
✅ Route your caller to the right person in your organisation.
✅ Provide ‘Out of Hours’ information and offer an opportunity for voicemail.
✅ Provide bespoke messaging for Bank Holidays and planned office closures.
✅ 2000 mins to 01/02/03 numbers per user.
