I recently came across this article about AI and creativity by Neil Simpson, and it really made me stop and think.

 

Neil was one of my tutors at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) when I completed a business development course, so it was great to read his thoughts on such a topical subject.

 

As a Chartered Landscape Architect, I believe the best ideas come from people, experience, curiosity and seeing the world in your own unique way. Whilst AI has its place, I don't believe it can replace genuine creativity, lived experience or the value of human insight.

 

It's one of the reasons I often say, "Waggle your weird." Our differences are what make our ideas, designs and solutions truly original.
