🚨 Supplier Alert: Major GOV.UK Procurement Changes – Are You Ready?

At Tender Response, we want to make sure you're fully prepared for the latest changes to public sector procurement in the UK. As of February 2025, all suppliers must comply with new rules introduced under the Procurement Act 2023—and they affect everyone supplying goods, services, or works to the public sector. There's two new codes that you will be asked for on all new bids, but the guidance is poor on how to find them. No need to fear - we've got you covered!

Public Procurement Act - Here’s what you need to know:

  • PPON (Public Procurement Operating Notice): A new system for real-time procurement updates and compliance guidance.
  • 🔐 Share Code: A unique identifier now required for all suppliers to register and verify their status on the new Central Digital Platform.
  • 💸 30-day payment terms: Now mandatory across all public sector contracts.
  • 🚫 Stricter exclusion rules: Non-compliant or underperforming suppliers risk being barred from future opportunities.

🎥 Need help finding your PPON and Share Code?

We’ve created a short, easy-to-follow video to walk you through the process.
