Lisa Edge, founder of GB Shared and a recognised Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award winner, has been featured in the official highlight video for Innovate UK’s Net Zero Adopt & Accelerate Manchester event.  The event brought together business leaders, innovators, sustainability specialists, and regional organisations committed to delivering the UK’s Net Zero ambitions through practical action, collaboration, and scale-ready solutions. The newly released video showcases key speakers and partners, including Lisa, who shared the impact of GB Shared’s community-driven, countywide collaboration model.

GB Shared operates across multiple UK counties and is expanding further in 2026, connecting public, private, and third-sector partners to create sustainable local supply chains. The platform has supported £100m in funding streams, shared £10bn in tenders, helped share over 12,000 jobs and provides digital infrastructure for regional collaboration, community wealth building, and decarbonisation.

The event brought great opportunities and opened doors for GB Shared and it's members, including leading to an Horizon Europe collaborative bid with partners across Norway, Italy and Romania, strengthening GB Shared’s growing international footprint in sustainable regional ecosystems.

The Innovate UK event emphasised the role of grassroots innovation, local action, and scalable models capable of supporting Net Zero transitions nationwide – themes all central to GB Shared’s mission.
